LANSING, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Three Michigan politicians, Rep. Elissa Slotkin (D), former representative Mike Rogers (R), and Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson (D), have been the victims of “swatting” in recent days.
Slotkin and Rogers were “swatted” late last week within a 24-hour period. “Swatting” is when someone is targeted by false 911 calls. Both Slotkin and Rogers are running against each other for Michigan’s open U.S. Senate seat after winning their respective primary elections last week.
