ANN ARBOR, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Playing just one year for Michigan, Danny Wolf is Michigan’s 32nd player drafted in the NBA First Round. The Brooklyn Nets took Wolf as the 27th pick and was the seventh Big Ten player selected in the first round.
Wolf transferred to Michigan after two years at Yale and led the Big Ten in rebounding at 9.7 per game, almost averaging a double-double with 13.2 points per game. The All-Big Ten First Team honoree was a finalist for the Karl Malone Award and made the All-Big Ten and NCAA South Regional All-Tournament teams.

He started all 37 games scoring in double figures 26 times, adding eight 20+ point games. With 15 double-doubles, he also had 100+ assists and a 50-block season. He is now the 78th Michigan basketball player drafted and the 23rd junior to leave early and have his name called in the draft.
Michigan finished their season in the Sweet 16, won the Big Ten Tournament Championship, and posted 27 wins.
