ISLE ROYALE, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – The father and son who are suspected to have died from a  murder-suicide last month on Isle Royale have been identified.

WLUC reported it obtained death certificates for 30-year-old Bradley Baird and his father, 60-year-old John Baird. Both of them were listed as Northville residents.

Their bodies were found June 8 on in Isle Royale National Park’s South Lake Desor Campground near Greenstone Ridge trail. Two rangers hiked 11 miles overnight to reach the remote campground and confirm the deaths the following day.

Reports online from other campers surfaced that described yelling on the night of the deaths. Some packed up and left the area.
