GRAND BLANC, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Law enforcement gave an update at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday saying the suspect in a Grand Blanc church shooting on Sunday morning has been identified as 40-year-old Thomas Jacob Sanford of Burton.
Sanford was killed at the scene. He rammed his truck into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 10:25 a.m. while hundreds of parishioners were gathered for worship services. Sanford got out of his truck and shot 10 people before police shot and killed him. Two of those people have died, seven victims are in stable condition, and one person is in critical condition.
