SALINE, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – The DEI specialist at Saline Area Schools said a Facebook post where he commented that Mark Zuckerberg had a “micropenis” was not reflective of the anti-bullying work he does with students at the Washtenaw County district.
Ryan Kerr posted on Feb. 1 a comment on Zuckerberg’s genitalia which was part of a lengthier post about the book “Erasing History,” written by Yale professor Jason Stanley.

Kerr added at the end, “Also, any time I post I think it’s important to remind everyone that Mark Zuckerberg has a micropenis.”
“As the leader of Saline Area Schools, I take bullying very seriously. When a concern was brought to my attention this morning about a post on Dr. Kerr’s personal social media account, I met with him immediately and appreciated his reflection,” Superintendent Rachel Kowalski said in a statement provided Sept. 30 to Michigan News Source.
Kerr is set to meet with 9th grade students Oct. 2 with a discussion about bullying.
“The need to reflect has always been an essential guidepost of doing equity work well,” Kerr said in a statement the district released. “Nobody comes into this work fully-formed. It is a job that takes a lifetime of learning, reflecting, and putting one’s ideas under great scrutiny. In the spirit of that reflection and learning, I am always willing to own my mistakes and missteps. My comment is not reflective of how I approach my work in the curation and instruction of anti-bullying lessons. I believe that thoughtful and respectful discourse lies at the center of necessary change in this society. I continue to rely on the words of Maya Angelou, ‘Do the best you can until you know better. Then when you know better, do better.’”
Kerr stated his post was not intended for public consumption, and he has since adjusted his privacy settings on his personal social media page accordingly.
In addition, Kerr’s comment included a screen shot of a page from “Erasing History” and he said, “Not that we don’t all know what is going on here.” The book claims that under the rise of Donald Trump, conservatives are fascists and attacking education.
