ALLEGAN COUNTY, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Hot ‘n Now fans won’t have to wait much longer. The beloved Michigan-born burger chain is making its comeback in West Michigan on Oct. 13.

The drive-thru burger joint announcement comes after crews installed the modular building on 129th Ave. near US-131 in Wayland Township in August. It sits across from the Gun Lake Casino.

The Hot ‘n Now website details menu items, including the iconic olive burger, plus a hamburger, cheeseburger and popcorn chicken. French fries, cheesy taters and an apple turnover round out the sides menu.

The once-popular Hot ‘n Now first got its start in 1984 in Kalamazoo. It saw success with locations across the country until the 1990s and became famous for its 39-cent hamburgers. After changing ownership several times, it filed for bankruptcy in 2004.

Last January, Gun Lake Investments announced it would revive the brand.

The team is working on opening an Alpena location this fall. An independently-owned Hot ‘n Now still operates in Sturgis.
