In the video, a man with a group of people approached the porch and then gave a hard kick to the front door. Police described the man as between the ages of 18 to 22 years old. In the video, the name “Jake” could be heard being called out and police said that may be the suspect’s first name.

As the group of men left, a male voice could be heard yelling, “F*** Israel. F*** the Jewish people.”

Ann Arbor Police said the investigation is continuing and the department is asking for help in identifying the suspect.

The incident happened on Hill Street, which is near the main campus of the University of Michigan, which has been in the news for antisemitism.

In the spring of 2024, there was a student protest that called for an “intifada” and demanded the university sever ties with Israel.
