DEARBORN, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Several people have been arrested and will be charged with a planned terrorist attack over the Halloween weekend, according to Fox News.
Fox News reported that the attack plot was tied to international terrorism and had a connection to ISIS.

Suspects were arrested in Inkster and Dearborn and could be in court as early as Monday, according to Fox News.
NBC News reported that five people were arrested, according to three senior law enforcement officials. The five people arrested were naturalized citizens from a Middle Eastern country and they had access to firearms and firearm training, citing unnamed senior law enforcement officials.
NBC reported that the FBI had been tracking the suspects and decided to move on them after they made reference to doing the planned attack on “pumpkin day.”
“Through swift action and close coordination with our local partners, a potential act of terror was stopped before it could unfold,” FBI Director Kash Patel said in a statement. “The vigilance of this FBI prevented what could have been a tragic attack — and thanks to their dedication, Michigan will have a safe and happy Halloween.”
