NEWARK, N.J. (Michigan News Source) – Two men from New Jersey were arrested in connection with an alleged terrorism plot that was planned in Dearborn for Halloween, according to NBC News.

Tomas Kaan Jimenez-Guzal and Milo Sedarat, who are both Montclair, New Jersey residents, were taken into custody by authorities.

Jimenez-Guzal, 19, was taken into custody Tuesday at the Newark airport. He talked about wanting to train with ISIS. Jimenez-Guzal had plans to leave to fly to Turkey on Nov. 17, but moved up his plans after the FBI raided homes in Michigan in connection with the terror plot.

Sedarat is the son of noted award-winning Iranian-American poet Roger Sedarat who is also a professor at Queens College in New York City, according to the New York Post. The son was arrested at his father’s home. The arrests were part of an investigation by the FBI and the New York Police Department’s Intelligence Bureau.

Authorities have now arrested four people in connection with an alleged terrorism plot that was hatched in Dearborn.

Dearborn residents Mohmed Ali and Majed Mahmoud were both charged this week for their involvement in the terror plot on behalf of ISIS. The criminal complaint alleged the group had stockpiled weapons and thousands of rounds of ammunition and had shot weapons at a gun range in preparation for the attack.
