ANN ARBOR, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – The journey of the transgender volleyball athlete for the girls Ann Arbor Skyline High School team is over after Byron Center knocked them out of the tournament.
Byron Center beat Ann Arbor Skyline by winning all three matches. Skyline finished the season at 28-10-4.

Ann Arbor’s team had made national news with a boy on its team. The boy, who Michigan News Source won’t name, made first team all conference.
On what would be the trans athlete’s last day on the volleyball team, State Rep. Donni Steele (R-Orion Township), along with her Republican female colleagues, asked the Michigan High School Athletic Association (MHSAA) to verify whether the boy had the required waiver approved to be eligible to play or remove the boy from the state tournament.
