JACKSON, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Ted Nugent recently posted a video on one of his Facebook pages where he said he wants to go to Dearborn at 2 a.m. and blast his song “Wang Dang Sweet Poontang” on his amps to drown out the Muslim “prayer noise.”

“You can’t force people to pray,” Nugent said in the video, which appeared on the “Official Page of the Ted Nugent Spirit of the Wild TV Show Exclusively on Pursuit Channel!” He posted it on Dec. 7.

In the video, Nugent said no freedom exists in the Muslim community and added Muslim women “were covered up in tents.” Nugent said he wanted to bring all the amplifiers he could find and play “Wang Dang Sweet Poontang” for the Muslim women. That song was released in 1977 on his album “Cat Scratch Fever.”

Nugent then challenged people to debate him.

The Muslim call to prayer has been broadcast several times a day in Dearborn since at least 1979. It starts as early as 5:30 a.m.
