DETROIT (Michigan News Source) – Fox 2 TV reporter Lauren Edwards took to social media to comment on the fatal shooting of a woman by an agent of the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
Renee Good was shot and killed by an ICE agent after officials said she used her vehicle to impede ICE vehicles from passing in Minneapolis.

“She was observing an ICE raid when ICE shot and killed her, police say,” Edwards posted on X on Jan. 7.

However, according to the Department of Homeland Security, Good was doing much more than “observing.”

The video showed Good’s vehicle had blocked the street. ICE agents got out of their vehicles to get her to move. Good was shot when she pulled away and veered toward an armed ICE agent.
Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem said in a video posted on X that Good was part of a “mob of agitators” that had been following the ICE agents and “harassing them all day.”
“She had been stalking and impeding their work all throughout the day,” Noem said.
The New York Post reported that Good was an anti-ICE “warrior” who belonged to a group of activists who worked to “document and resist” the ICE efforts in Minnesota. The New York Post reported that Good’s group “ICE Watch” was “dedicated to disrupting ICE raids” and that Good was trained in how to deal with ICE.
