WEST BLOOMFIELD, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Multiple law enforcement agencies are responding to reports of an active shooter at Temple Israel in West Bloomfield after a vehicle reportedly crashed into the synagogue.
The reports came in just after 12:30 p.m. on Thursday. People are asked to avoid the area.

The Jewish Federation of Detroit urged all Jewish organizations nationwide to immediately implement lockout protocol, which means no one can go in or out of the buildings.

There are reports of smoke inside the temple as well.
