WEST BLOOMFIELD, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced on Sunday that the 41-year-old terrorist who rammed his vehicle into a West Bloomfield synagogue on Thursday was the brother of a recently deceased Hezbollah commander.
The brother of Ayman Mohamad Ghazali, who attempted to carry out a massacre at Temple Israel, was killed earlier this month. He was born in Lebanon and later became a U.S. citizen. Other media outlets have spun the Hezbollah ties as Ghazali’s family being killed “in an Israeli attack on their home in Lebanon.” Israel is targeting Hezbollah, the terrorist group which supports Iran and its efforts against Israel and the U.S. in military strikes in that region.

The IDF attempted to clear the story up over the weekend. “Hezbollah commander Ibrahim Muhammad Ghazali was responsible for managing weapons operations within a specialized branch of the Badr Unit. The unit is responsible for launching hundreds of rockets toward Israeli civilians throughout the war.” Officials continued, saying, “Ibrahim was eliminated in an IAF strike on a Hezbollah military structure last week.”
On March 12, security personnel save the lives of 140 Jewish children and staff at Temple Israel after shooting and killing Ayman Ghazali before he could carry out his terrorist plot. In light of the thwarted attack, the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office announced it is hosting training for houses of worship and safety teams.
