OUTER SPACE (Michigan News Source) – The four astronauts aboard Artemis II ran into some problems early on – a malfunction with the spacecraft’s toilet system.
However, a Michigander came to the rescue. Christina Koch, a Grand Rapids native, is the first woman to travel beyond low-Earth orbit toward the moon. She called herself a “space plumber” and said the problem with the “most important piece of equipment onboard” fixed itself once the system got warmed up.
