WEXFORD COUNTY, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Charges against the sister of Rebecca Park — the pregnant woman found murdered in the Manistee National Forest last November after her 38-week-old baby was cut from her body — have been dropped, according to court records.
Kimberly Park was charged with tampering with evidence, lying to a peace officer during a violent crime investigation, and filing a false report of a felony. Since the charges were dismissed without prejudice, the charges can be brought again in the future.

While Kimberly Park may be off the hook for now, the case against other family members is moving forward. Cortney Bartholomew, Rebecca’s biological mother, and her husband, Bradly Bartholomew, are accused of luring, torturing, and killing the 22-year-old Rebecca Park. Prosecutors say the couple attacked Park in an attempt to take her unborn baby. Both died, and the baby’s remains have not been recovered.
