DAGGETT, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – A farm worker in Menominee County died after an off-road vehicle rolled over and pinned him to the ground.
The Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Administration (MIOSHA) said the 23-year-old farm worker was transporting newborn livestock from one farm location to another, approximately two miles away, on June 6.

Officials said while driving an off-road vehicle on a county road, the worker attempted to turn at an intersection. The vehicle rolled over and pinned him to the ground, resulting in his death.
This marks the 16th worker death in Michigan in 2026.
