TRAVERSE CITY, Mich. (Great Lakes News) – A Grand Traverse County man is cleaning up after his animal abuse felony charges.

Raymond Feagles is facing felony charges of animal abuse and neglect when officials seized 160 dogs from his property last month. He has pleaded not guilty.

Now Feagles has been hit with a $37,000 bill for costs related to cleaning up his property.

The front yard had more than 10 vehicles on it and a motor home. In addition, his residence has been condemned.

The 123 dogs that remain are in the care of humane societies and animal shelters and are being prepared for adoption.
