LANSING, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – If you love Michigan’s great outdoors but not the state’s price tag for access, keep June 11th and 12th in mind.
That’s the date for this year’s “Three-Free” weekend.

There will be no fees to fish, ride off-road vehicles or visit state parks. ORV riders can enjoy 4,000 miles of trails without needing a license or trail permit.
All other rules still apply.
In addition, Michiganders can fish all weekend without needing a license in both inland and Great Lakes.
A recreation passport will not be needed to access state parks and boating access site.
The Three-Free-Weekend repeats in August.
