LANSING, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Three Michigan GOP gubernatorial candidates are in a three-way tie, according to a Mitchell Research and Communications Poll.
The MIRS-commissioned poll conducted data on June 21 and 22. The new poll shows Tudor Dixon with 15%, Kevin Rinke with 15%, Ryan Kelley with 13%, Garrett Soldano with 8%, and Ralph Rebandt with 3%.

Dixon is opening a significant lead in the Detroit media market where she earned 28% of the vote to Rinke’s 18% followed by Kelley’s 9%. The Detroit market is by far the largest in the state and accounts for nearly half of the statewide vote.
Steve Mitchell of Mitchell Research & Communications noted that statewide advertising would likely lead to Dixon putting away the primary and moving on to face Gretchen Whitmer in the general election.
On Thursday, Dixon earned an endorsement from the Police Officers Association of Michigan while rocker Ted Nugent endorsed Rinke.
