ANN ARBOR, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – A new name has entered the Ann Arbor mayoral race.

Independent challenger Eric Lipson has been certified by the city clerk’s office and will appear on the November 8 ballot.

We will run against the winner of the primary between Mayor Christopher Taylor and Anne Bannister.

Or will he?

Lipson is a supporter of Bannister’s and is running only if Taylor wins the primary. He plans to withdraw if Bannister wins. Taylor has been mayor since 2014.
