HOLLAND, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – After years of debate, the issue of fiber broadband internet in Holland is going to the voters to decide.

If the proposal is passed, the city’s Board of Public Works would use up to $30 million from a bond to build a publicly owned internet network.

When completed, officials say every home in Holland could choose to use either the public internet service or go with another provider.
