ADRIAN, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Something doesn’t smell right at a plant in Adrian…literally. That means the company could face some stiff penalties.

Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes and Energy (EGLE) is escalating enforcement action against a powered egg in manufacturer in Adrian for offensive odors. The plant, owned by Crimson Holdings, was issued a violation on July 21st for nuisance orders.

It also received citations in April and May for odor violations.

The company now faces fines, a compliance plan and penalties for future violations although exact actions are still being finalized.

Crimson Holdings has yet to respond to the violations.
