DETROIT (Michigan News Source) – Washtenaw County is tackling gun violence with some help.

The Community Priority Fund will hand out it’s first three grants to combat gun violence in Ypsilanti.

Supreme Felons, A Brighter Way and the Dispute Resolution Center will receive a combined $1.7 million from the $8 million fund. The Community Priority Fund was established from the county’s share of the federal COVID-19 dollars through the American Rescue Plan Act.
