DETROIT (Michigan News Source) – It’s going to take longer for a water main break to be fixed.

Great Lakes Water Authority (GLWA) officials said the delivery of a replacement pipe needed to repair a major water main break has been delayed.

The pipe was originally scheduled to arrive on Tuesday to the GLWA’s Lake Huron Treatment Facility.

The water main break prompted boil water notices for 20 communities over the weekend, which have since been lifted.

No word on when the delayed pipe will arrive.
