IONIA, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Police have identified the two bicyclists killed after a vehicle struck them while riding in a Make-A-Wish event.
The Ionia County Sheriff’s Office reports Edward Erickson, of Ann Arbor, and Michael Salhaney, of Bloomfield Hills, died Saturday while riding in this year’s Wish-A-Mile Bicycle Tour in Michigan.

The driver, Mandy Marie Benn, of Ionia, was charged with two counts of operating while intoxicated causing death, at arraignment Monday afternoon.
She also faces one count of operating while under the influence of a controlled substance.
Police said three other bicyclists injured in the crash are receiving continued medical care or have received medical treatment.
