ISLE ROYALE, Michigan (Michigan News Source) – A wildfire over the weekend closed several campgrounds and trails in the U.P.

The wildfire burned about 10 acres at the junction of Tobin Harbor and Mt. Franklin trails.

It forced the evacuation of visitors from Three Mile and Lane Cove campgrounds, and several campgrounds and trails in that area are closed until further notice.

Officials are asking anyone who was in the area and saw something to submit a tip at 888-553-0009.
