ANN ARBOR, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – The city of Ann Arbor is making plans to improve city parks basketball, tennis and pickleball courts.

Ann Arbor has more than 70 courts tied to those sports in its city parks system. Many are in bad condition.

The city is completing an audit of all of its courts so it can create a plan to begin fixing and updating them.

The plan could take several years to complete. One of the problems faced by the city is finding game court contractors that can do the work.

The city’s goal is to create a master plan and fix a few each year.
