All advisors related to the spill have been lifted. The city of Wixom says Tribar has implemented several new safeguards that lead the city to approve it’s discharging.
The Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes and Energy (EGLE) says it will closely monitor the plant.
The investigation into the initial release is still ongoing.
