MUSKEGON, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Muskegon County commissioners have reversed an earlier vote to award themselves $5,000 COVID bonuses amid considerable pushback from constituents.

Bonuses will still be given to non-bargaining employees and other elected officials.

That will save the county more than $48,000. Commissioners receive an annual salary of almost $19,000 each year.
