LANSING, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Gas prices at most stations in Michigan remain above $4 per gallon, but AAA reports the price has fallen 19 cents in the past week.

AAA Michigan says statewide gas prices are roughly 19-cents a gallon lower than last week, making the average price $4.04.

Prices remain 64-cents higher than last year.

Gas stations in the Detroit boast the lowest prices, where prices dropped 26-cents in the past week to $3.94.

Benton Harbor’s $4.12 per gallon prices are the highest in the state.
