KALAMAZOO, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – A Kalamazoo resident is earning bragging rights after landing in the semifinals of a national beverage making contest, and seven-year-old Beau Blackmon is practically bubbling over with pride.

Beau Blackmon created Good Soda, which has four zero-sugar flavors with two more on the way.

His brand has been selected out of thousands of entrants to be one of a dozen semifinalists at the
BevNET New Beverage Showdown.

The winner will get a $10,000 BevNet advertising package and a trophy.

Here’s a fun fact – Good Soda is sold in 8-ounce cans so kids can hold them easier.

Good Soda is sold locally around Kalamazoo, soon to be in some Meijer boutique stores and is available in Chicago and Los Angeles.
