LANSING, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – The former director of the Lansing Catholic Diocese’s St. Francis Retreat Center is charged with embezzling $830,000 from three priests.
Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel says 70-year-old Father David Rosenberg of Dewitt is facing seven charges after being arraigned.

He served as the retreat’s director from 2015 until last year and spent the embezzled funds on his charitable foundation called FaithFirst.
Rosenberg is due back in court on December 15.
