LANSING, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Michigan ranks in the middle of the pack when it comes to median income.
The Great Lakes State ranks 21st in the nation for median income for a full-time, year round worker 16 and older with an income of more than $52,000.

Michigan ranks among the best in the Midwest topping Wisconsin, Ohio, and Indiana. Massachusetts has the highest median income with more than $72,000. Mississippi has the lowest media income.
Oakland County has the highest median income in the state.
