KALAMAZOO, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Western Michigan University is partnering with SkyWest Airlines for two new aviation programs.

Students will be mentored by SkyWest pilots. In addition, they will be eligible for up to $15,000 in tuition reimbursements and receive a guaranteed interview to become a first officer with the airline.

The AMT Pathway Program will give students mechanic mentoring, up to $4,500 in tuition assistance, and a guaranteed interview to become an A&P mechanic.
