FLINT, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – The Flint Fire Department is mourning the loss of one of their own after a firefighter who died in the line of duty Saturday afternoon.
The death came after Flint fire crews responded to a vacant trailer on fire on South Dort Highway; when firefighters arrived, they saw the trailer engulfed in flames.

Multiple sources say the firefighter collapsed on the scene. Doctors pronounced him dead at the hospital.
The Flint Fire Department did not immediately identify the firefighter.
The fire is under investigation.
