Those who own Hyundai and Kia vehicles are being told to park their vehicles outside due to an
increased fire risk. Affected are the 2019-2023 Hyundai Santa Fe, 2021-2023 Santa Fe Hybrids, 2022-
2023 Santa Fe Plug-In hybrids, 2022-2023 Hyundai Santa Cruz and the 2022-2023 Kia Carnival. To date
one Hyundai has caught fire while five had heat damage incidents. No Kia issues have been reported.
