Since 2006, the courts for both NCAA basketball tournaments have been made by Connor Sports in Iron County’s Amasa.

The hard maple is chosen specifically for the quality of wood due to the short growing season for trees in the Upper Peninsula.

Connor Sports is a 150-year-old company and provides courts for the Olympics.
