YPSILANTI, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – A new $50,000 grant aims to bring brighter smiles to Washtenaw County.
The grant from Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan will help Hope Clinic in Ypsilanti offer more dental care to those who don’t have insurance.
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, more than 5% of residents in Washtenaw County lack health insurance, which makes it difficult to get basic dental services.
Hope Clinic says the grant will allow it to expand its capacity by 40% and help the more than 150 people on its waiting list.
