KALAMAZOO, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Kalamazoo has been besieged with deaths as officials work to find the cause.

Kalamazoo police are dealing with five deaths and 12 overdoses in a 24-hour period from fentanyl. Police are still trying to determine what was mixed with the fentanyl.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Silent Observer. People dealing with substance abuse can find resources through Integrated Services of Kalamazoo or Southwest Michigan Behavioral Health. The program is free to Kalamazoo County residents.
