The Escalade will join the Lyriq SUV along with the upcoming Celestiq that will be handmade in Warren.

Both Cadillac and Buick brands will have all-electric lineups by 2030. The automaker is behind in production of its EVs but says the rollout has been slow to ensure quality.

GM will start taking orders of the Celestiq vehicles in a few months.
