DETROIT (Michigan News Source) – Mosquito repellant and layers are a must if you head to Detroit, Grand Rapids, or Flint this summer.
The Great Lakes State has the dubious honor of having three cities on the Orkin’s Top 50 Mosquito Cities list.

Detroit is down one spot but still in the top 10 coming in 8th. Grand Rapids is up five spots to 23rd, and Flint is up seven places coming in at 35th.
Orkin says there are more than 200 types of mosquitos in the U.S. that become active when the temperature is above 68-degrees overnight.
