ANN ARBOR, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – A pair of Michigan Universities are turning out Peace Corps volunteers at an impressive rate.

The University of Michigan is fourth and Michigan State University sixth in producing the most Peace Corps volunteers since the organization started in 1961.

Over that time the two schools have produced almost 5,300 volunteers.

Michigan as a state ranks 14th among all states and territories for volunteers. The University of California-Berkeley is the best school for volunteers.
