Neighborhoods and groups can fill out online forms starting July 1st if they have interest in becoming a solar neighborhood.
While the solar energy wouldn’t directly help them, the city can do things like help with new roofs or energy efficient windows in exchange for being a solar array host. The city emphasized that this is a voluntary program.
