TRAVERSE CITY, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – A new event is becoming one of the hottest tickets of the summer, and that’s why 2,000 more tickets for the International Fireworks Championship will go in sale this Thursday.

In June, Traverse City Tourism announced the first-ever International Fireworks Championship will be held at Turtle Creek Stadium on September 9th, and will  host four teams from Germany, Mexico, France, and the U.S. The competition lights off fireworks set against a backdrop of synchronized music.

When tickets first went on sale in June, all 4,000 tickets sold out in the first hour.
