EAST LANSING, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – The Michigan Wolverines trounced the Michigan State University Spartans in Saturday night’s rivalry game 49-0.

The Wolverines (8-0, 5-0 Big Ten) dominated right away and kept up that pace throughout the game.

Both teams are facing drama off the field. Michigan State (2-5, 0-4) has lost five straight games since former coach Mel Tucker was suspended and later fired for what he claimed was consensual phone sex with sexual assault activist and rape survivor Brenda Tracy.

U-M staffer Connor Stalions has been suspended with pay, pending an NCAA investigation into allegations of sign-stealing, according to athletic director Warde J. Manuel.
