JACKSON, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Jackson County is gearing up for Christmas after one nonprofit spent time hanging lights in Jackson area parks.

People for the Parks and Trails gathered volunteers across multiple parks in the Jackson area to install holiday light displays.

The parks that that can now boast the holiday spirit are Betsy Butterfield Park, Austin Blair Park, Elnora Moorman Plaza, Ganson Street Park, and Kiwanis Park.

The lights are scheduled to be turned on after Thanksgiving and will be on every night until January 2024.
