WASHINGTON (Michigan News Source) – The U.S. Army says the remains of Corporal Gordon McCarthy, who was killed in the Korean War, will be buried at Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia Thursday.
McCarthy was from Palmer, Michigan and was 20-years-old when he was reported missing in action after a North Korean attack on December 2, 1950.

His remains were identified by experts in February. McCarthy was one of the soldiers whose remains were turned over by North Korea in 2018.
