KALAMAZOO, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Applications are now being accepted by the city of Kalamazoo for new public safety officer candidates.

The applications are being accepted through 11:59 p.m. on January 31.

Applicants do not need prior police, fire, or medical first responder certifications to apply. Hired applicants will go through the police academy and receive fire and EMS training.
