LANSING, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Are you looking to snowmobile and enjoy the winter trails this weekend? Michigan DNR officials are encouraging residents to head “up north.”
Officials say the trails throughout the U.P. have been holding up despite the warmer temperatures, and are the best in the Eastern U.P.

They say the best time to enjoy the trails is in the early morning while the pack is still frozen.
The DNR say since this winter has been unpredictable, enjoy the trails safely while you can.
